Kjøsterudgården
solo exhibition

In 2015, I spent the summer in Åsgårdstrand, where I used Kjøsterudgården as my studio. This house is famous for being the setting in many of Edvard Munch's paintings, such as The Girls on the Bridge, Red Virginia Creeper, and others. It was a delightful experience staying in this small town, so deeply marked by the presence of Munch and other artists. At the end of my stay, I hosted a pop-up exhibition in the house. Many people came, eager not only to view the artwork but also to get a glimpse inside this beautiful and historic building.
While painting inside the house, I found myself inspired by both the house itself and its surroundings.

St.Olavs Church
solo exhibition
I organized an art event in a stunning church
located in the heart of London.
For the opening, the church was transformed
into a candlelit gourmet restaurant
and an unconventional art gallery.
I chose this location because my work centers around
the relationship between mythology and scripture.
The central sculpture, suspended in front of the altar,
was inspired by sacred geometry
and traditional patterns kept alive through women's art, particularly crochet.
The sculpture, measuring 170 x1 70 cm, was crafted from wire.
Accompanying the visual art was a sound installation featuring various voices reciting the alphabet in multiple languages.
The soundscape mirrored the geometric patterns,
creating a familiar yet immersive experience.
